We provided civil and structural engineering services necessary to complete the modification and structural alterations required to facilitate the comprehensive refurbishment of the south side of Southampton Central Station. These were undertaken as part of the DfT National Stations Improvement Programme (NSIP) and included providing a new art-deco style frontage on the south side of the station together with enlarging the booking hall and waiting room, providing a new café, lighting and bus stops and improved access for the disabled.
